Support the Pope's Worldwide Prayer Network
The mission of the Apostleship of Prayer is to encourage Christians to pray. Our work is supported solely through the gifts of our members and friends—not the Vatican, nor the Jesuits, even though we perform a service to the Pope and are a ministry of the Jesuits. Your gift—large or small—we receive gratefully! As we are a religious nonprofit organization, your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the law.
There are a number of ways that you can support the mission of the Apostleship of Prayer. Some of these offer substantial tax, estate planning, and other financial benefits. As a result, donors have opportunities to enhance their own financial security, while strengthening the future ministry of the Apostleship of Prayer.

Planning your Legacy
Your decision to make a planned gift is a personal statement about what you care about and who you are. Your planned gift to the Apostleship of Prayer can foster the spiritual growth and lives of countless individuals, help you achieve your financial goals, and allow you to leave a lasting legacy of generosity.
Remember the Apostleship of Prayer. As you provide for your loved ones in your will, please also consider your charitable interests. You may name a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder. Bequests are exempt from federal and state inheritance taxes, and subject to an unlimited deduction. Our correct name is: Apostleship of Prayer. The Tax ID Number is: 13-1740135.
Gifts of Insurance
Most of us think of life insurance as protection for our loved ones. But life insurance is also a powerful tool you can use to bolster the work of the Apostleship of Prayer into the future. You can donate a paid-up cash value life insurance policy and take an income tax deduction for the cumulative amount of premiums paid. You can also obtain certain tax benefits by taking out a new policy or giving an existing policy on which payments are still being made.
Gifts of Deferred Income
You may leave IRA’s, 401(k) plans, qualified pensions plans, and employee stock option plans to the Apostleship of Prayer upon your death. Deferred income plans allow you to use the assets during your lifetime, while enabling a large future bequest gift to the Apostleship of Prayer.
